How Tim Cook sold out Steve Jobs i agree with anil that it was spineless that tim apple built & gave that ugly UGLY award to trump. i'm not sure i agree that steve jobs would have done anything differently, other than privately yell "fuck you" to everyone in the administration while working to ensure his company survived. but either way, it sucks that apple, a company with real "fuck you" money has decided to not spend it in a situation like this

Routes eliminated, trains once an hour, BART and muni contemplate nightmare scenario i know that transit agencies across the country are facing fiscal cliffs, and so is ours here in the bay. if funding doesn't come in for these systems, it will be a complete collapse.
AC Transit (which serves the east bay) is taking a grant from the Dept of Homeland Security that would require AC Transit to cooperate with and support ICE. I plan to call in.
On Wed 9/10 AC Transit will hold a vote ratifying a grant from the Dept. Of Homeland Security. If they ratify the grant AC Transit would be required to cooperate with & support ICE. Contact the board or come to this Wed. Meeting at 5pm. NO ICE, NO DHS GRANT. www.actransit.org/board-of-dir...
